Festival pass
All filmmakers representing a film in the programme can get a free festival pass. To get one, register using the link below. This also counts as your registration for the festival.

Travel support
We do not arrange travel or accommodation for filmmakers, but this year we are able to offer a small travel grant per film. Each film can receive up to NOK 1,200 towards travel costs, reimbursed against receipts after the festival. The amount may be adjusted slightly upwards if fewer films make use of it.
It probably won’t cover your whole stay, but we hope it helps. We also encourage you to contact your regional film centre or equivalent funding body at home to see whether they can cover the rest. Norwegian filmmakers can find their regional film centre here.
Reimbursement is paid in Norwegian kroner (NOK) to the account you provide.
To receive travel support:
- The film must be selected for the Amandus Blikkfang 2026 programme.
- At least one representative of the film must be registered as a festival participant (festival pass) by 17 September, one week before the festival.
- Representatives of the film must have attended the festival and taken part in the Q&A about the film after the screening. If this is not possible due to illness, travel problems or similar, you must explain and document the reason in order to receive the reimbursement.
- Only one reimbursement is given per film. If several of you travel, you will need to divide the amount between you.
- You must submit receipts for travel or accommodation. Digital PDF receipts are preferred where possible. You can also photograph receipts, but please make sure they are clearly legible. Meals are not covered.
- We encourage you to travel by public transport, but car travel costs can also be accepted where that is more practical. In that case, please consider carpooling.
- If your receipts add up to less than the grant amount, you will only be reimbursed for the amount shown on the receipts.
- Use the dedicated form that will be sent out after the festival. That is where you provide your account details, and where you will find the submission deadline and information about when payment will be made. Please do not send receipts or information outside of this form.
Screening your film
We want to show your film in the best possible way, and [setningen mangler her]. The deadline for submitting your screening file is 13 September.
Filmmaker talks
Hearing from the people behind the films is an important part of the festival. We therefore invite filmmakers to an informal conversation about their film after the screening block. Our moderators are experienced at asking interesting questions about the work. We hope as many of you as possible will take the opportunity to tell the festival audience about your film.
Award ceremony and gala dinner
Amandus Blikkfang ends with an award ceremony. All nominated filmmakers attending the festival get a free dinner beforehand. Please check that you would like dinner in your registration.
