Urkvinnen

In the face of forest, mountains, fire and song, a woman searches back to something she cannot quite put into words. Through nature and old rituals, she attempts to get closer to those who lived before. The film follows Bea and a Viking community that lives differently from most people, in harmony with nature. Urkvinnen is a poetic observational documentary that explores identity, belonging and people`s connection to nature. The film invites the audience into an experience where atmosphere and mystery are stronger than explanations.
