The Promise of Tomorrow

Nenne has dementia and lives in a temporary nursing home while her husband lives alone in their house. When Nenne gets a permanent placement, the couple must come to terms with the fact that their life together is over. Together with her grandchild, Nenne visits her new home. Afterward, she craves a visit to her past life. The visit evokes strong emotions about life, death, and what we leave behind.
